The Banana colours originated from an idea of Indie's in the VBGA (Very Boring Grownups Association):
Obviously, the 'don't care' vote won and so Banana ponies came into official existence! A whole series of islands was worldbuilt for them, unsurprisingly named the Banana Isles. The actual colour chart was put together by Jadzhia in late 2008 with help from other Banana enthusiasts who tweaked the colour choices.

Secret Garden is a collection of certain color hexes that have been matched up to specific types of flowers or plants normally found in a garden, thereby uniting a love of ponies with love of flowers, created by Sylphwings.
These colours arise from an idea that orginally began over on the VBGA, inspired by Rocket's R0b0t Unicorn, and Smudged's idea to have a colour chart celebrating robotic colours. Later on, after Jadzhia started the R0b0t Club, she became very interested in all things Steampunk and decided to augment the existing R0b0t colours to include those of a Steampunk nature.

Dusty Crayons is a collection of eye-wateringly bright hexes inspired by Licclefreak in order to add collectible colours in ranges gennable on New PI. Names and colours were dreamt up in the DayGlo Chalk & Dusty Crayons Association. These were added to the Matcher in September 2016.

Created for Halloween 2016 by Jadzhia with help from a few friends (you know who you are!), these colours provide a frightening range for those seeking to trick or treat when using the Matcher. Not only that, but do you notice something spooky about the codes?
